Yesterday was not a happy day for those of us who are denied health care by our current laissez faire insurance co. driven system. The senate Finance Committee voted a public option down in two separate votes.
We need the public option to keep things honest in this country. Almost every industrialized country has health care freely available to all of it's citizens. Why are we different? Because we have become a nation that puts a price tag on everything, even health and life. If we are truly one nation under god, let's follow our faith and do the right thing.
On Tuesday, September 29, the United States Senate is going to vote on a proposal that will add a public option to the Senate version of the healthcare bill. Everyone needs this important safety net. Please visit my Listen Here! page and tell your Senator to do the right thing.
I am just an average middle-class guy who is convinced that there's no one on Talk Radio who speaks for us. I want to change that situation.
