In my last show, I referred to the term “job creator” as being one of the words that deceive. That phrase is toxic to the well being and future of America's workers and their families because it makes corporate acts of greed and treachery look heroic. The phrase was invented by a GOP consultant who specializes in finding words which are euphemisms that put policies that I feel would otherwise be tough for the the average American to swallow in a good light. I think that you will agree that anyone who is not a billionaire or mega corp. who buys into the job creator concept is working against his or her best interests.
Deceptive words pave the way for the corporate control of our country because powerful words on their part usually lead to powerful reactions on our part. The best way that we can take our country back from the iron grip of corporations and the super rich is to counteract propaganda with facts, to counter their buzzwords with our buzzwords, their memes with our memes! Their words always seem to be created by a big bucks consultant, our words come from our hearts and minds. Their words get widespread coverage from the mainstream media corporate propaganda ministry, our words rely on social media and independent media to get out.
Let's erase “job creators” from the hearts and minds of the mainstream media viewing, listening and reading public by using my more accurate replacements for it. Since a number of corporate “job creators” mainly “create” jobs in China, pay little or no taxes and pay U.S. workers wages that are so low that they need food stamps, let's call them what they really are - Freeloaders or Not Job Creators. Since by working, earning a living, actually paying our taxes and buying American products, we are the real job creators, let's pat our fellow American workers on the back for their tireless efforts, by using the #RealJobCreator hashtag.
Together, we will counteract words that deceive with words that enlighten. #Freeloaders, #NotJobCreators and #RealJobCreator are powerful verbal weapons in the ongoing fight for the truth, use them everywhere!

In the years since the Reagan regime started and subsequent administrations continued a corporate job offshoring free for all, America and it's future has been sacrificed on the altar of corporate profits. This is an situation that is at the core of most of our country's problems today. If you truly care about the future of the U.S.A., you need to visit my Listen Here! page to get your dose of reality
How many times have you heard your electeds, the people who are supposed to be looking out for YOUR interests explain away the fact that most of the well paying manufacturing jobs are gone in this country with some smug throwaway comment about the American workforce lacking the skills required for today's job market? The truth of the matter is that most of the new “job growth” in our economy has been in the service sector, specifically in the high paying fields of fast food burger flipping and big box store “associating.” The reason for that is obviously because at the expense of working Americans who voted them in, our electeds helped the only constituency that really matters to them, the corporate and super rich backers who paid for their campaigns. Those well-heeled backers got much more than their money's worth from our electeds in the form of lowered trade tariffs, a seemingly endless number of “free” trade agreements and legislation deregulating anything that stands in the way of the aforementioned corps. making a buck.
Since our electeds brought it up, let's look at their bogus claim that American workers lack the skill set needed for today's manufacturing jobs. That skill set is primarily obtained on the job because by and large, different companies do things differently because of differing manufacturing techniques and trade secrets. That's why one brand of a product category can be very different from another brand. You can get general training in a particular industry through higher education or trade schools, but will not get the practical and marketable industry specific knowledge that you get from on the job training. That's why we have many new college grads flipping burgers in a fast food place instead of working in the industries that their costly education covers.
At this point, I'm sure that you can guess that many American corporations still provide on the job training that leads to the “skills required for today's job market" except that they do so for those workers in third world nations who are willing to work for next to nothing. The real story about corporations who manufacture offshore instead of here is that they are not interested is finding people with “skills” that aren't available here, they are only interested in shopping the globe for cheap labor. Similarly, politicians who spout nonsense about Americans lacking “skills for today's job market” aren't interested in telling us the truth about their complicity in job offshoring, they are only interested in getting us off their backs with a quick, convenient lie!
I want you to try this one one on for size. Since Mitt Romney and Barack Obama are embroiled in a seemingly endless political ad battle about outsourcing jobs overseas and both seem to agree that outsourcing hurts the American middle class, we have the rare opportunity to get both candidates and their political parties to put their money where their mouth is by having a truly bipartisan effort to end job offshoing. Instead of both candidates and by extension, both parties accusing each other of promoting job outsourcing, let's see the electeds of both parties take immediate concrete steps to curb job offshoring. I want to see President Obama propose trade tariffs on imports to bring manufacturing and jobs back to the USA. I want to see Congress and the Senate write legislation to bring those tariffs to life. I want to see President Obama sign that legislation.
Rest assured, trade tariffs will bring jobs back to the USA in droves because no corporation wants to lose the American people as customers. Foreign corporations will even open factories here to avoid the tariffs only this time they will be paying decent wages because they will be competing with American owned corps. for workers. We will have jobs, jobs, jobs and the American dream will return.
What's that? Do I hear murmuring from Republican and Democratic politicians that tariffs won't work because we live in a "global" economy? Well in that case, just keep signing those "free" trade agreements that gave away our jobs in the first place and we will assume that those political ads are just empty campaign rhetoric. We will then elect the customary lesser of two evils and use the next four years to grow an all powerful third party that really listens to working Americans!
When U.S. corporations outsource jobs overseas, they create a cycle of unemployment, lost tax revenues and damage to the U.S. manufacturing infrastructure. We've had over thirty years of the people who are supposed to represent the American voter, not just American corporations passing "free" trade agreements, lowering trade tariffs and granting Permanent Normal Trade Relations to China. The net effect of this has been a massive loss of jobs that no amount of exporting will offset, stagnant or reduced wages and in many cases working people going into debt just to put food on the table and pay the rent or mortgage. A side effect of manufacturing in China is the sharing of U.S. manufacturing technology with a place that just happens to still be a Communist country!
This petition asks that our elected officials make working Americans whole by re-instituting the trade tariffs that were reduced or eliminated over the past thirty years. In addition, it asks that Congress, The Senate and The President refrain from signing any new "free" trade agreements, rescind existing ones and pass the appropriate legislation to curtail corporate job offshoring.

Have you noticed that there's no one on Talk Radio who speaks for John and Jane Q. Public? I want to change that situation. When I go into the studio and get on the air, I say the things that you've always wanted to say. The big corporate interests have their lobbyists, I want to be your voice. Just think of me as your guy fighting for your interests.
